It’s the hood scoop for the tiny in-dash V8 that powers the cabin blower.
Kidding aside, Twilight Sentinel was a GM thing, not Mopar.

Auto-headlight dimmers were fairly widespread across brands, though, so good money that’s one. It was an available option for my Lincoln from ‘59.

I always loved that name. I think GM used it well into the ‘80s, if not a little later. Has the typical 1950s “let’s think of a creative, trademark-able brand name for every single feature” flair to it.
